Custom Headwear Manufacturing

Buyer FAQs

Practical answers about developing, sampling and producing custom hats with BDBRIM. If your project has unusual materials or specifications, we will confirm the details before quoting.

Before You Order

Are you a factory or a trading company?

BDBRIM is a manufacturer. Custom hats and headwear are produced at our own facility in Baoding, China — cutting, sewing, embroidery, printing, finishing and inspection are handled in-house. You can verify this through original factory photos, a video call or an on-site visit.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the style, material and colors of your specific product — it is not one blanket number. Tell us your design and quantity and we will confirm the current minimum conditions for your project.

Can I approve a physical sample before bulk production?

Yes. The physical sample is the approval gate before bulk production. Once approved, the sample and documented specification become the reference for production and any repeat orders.

How long does production take?

Development, production and transit are separate stages. Actual timing varies by style, quantity, material availability and approvals. We give realistic ranges with conditions for your specific project rather than a universal promise.

Will I pay U.S. import duties or tariffs?

Duty depends on product classification, origin and current trade measures, which can change. We can provide product details and classification reference information; please confirm current duty with your customs broker before ordering.

Customization & Production

Which custom headwear styles can you manufacture?

We work with baseball caps, trucker hats, dad caps, bucket hats, five-panel caps, beanies, golf hats, visors and other headwear styles. Share a reference image or sample so we can assess your specific construction and decoration requirements.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM manufacturing?

With OEM, we manufacture to the buyer's defined specifications and approved references. With ODM, our team contributes product-development input within the scope agreed for the project. Both routes rely on a confirmed specification and sample approval before bulk production.

What logo and decoration methods are available?

Depending on your design and fabric, options include flat embroidery, 3D puff embroidery, patches, screen printing, heat transfer and woven labels. We can discuss which method is practical for your artwork, material and planned quantity.

What should I send to request a quotation?

Please share your preferred cap style, estimated quantity, colors or material, logo artwork or decoration requirements, target date, destination and any reference files. If details are still undecided, send what you have and we will identify the open points before quoting.

How is production quality checked?

Our process includes incoming material checks, inspection during production and final checks against the approved sample. Construction, stitching, measurements, decoration and packaging are reviewed against the agreed requirements.

Delivery & Repeat Orders

Which shipping options can you arrange?

Available options include international express services such as DHL, FedEx and UPS, as well as air and sea freight. Transit times and import costs depend on the destination, shipment details and customs requirements; we confirm the applicable arrangement for each order.

How do you keep repeat orders consistent?

The approved physical sample and documented product specification become the reference for bulk production and repeat orders. Changes to materials, sizing, construction or decoration should be reviewed and confirmed before production.
